Hello, my name is Marlene Reyes. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe that therapy is a fundamental step to begin the process of healing and recovery. As a bilingual provider, I aspire to bridge the language barrier and dismantle the stigma associated with mental health. Not only do I utilize my experience and education but I also use my lived experience to my practice. As a second generation American, I am able to understand the intersectionality of culture and how it may affect mental health treatment. I fully understand cultural humility and how it can contribute to one’s healing process. I have worked with children (as young as 3 years old), adolescents, adults and older adults. I have experience working in Community Mental Health, Crisis Intensive Services, inpatient facilities and Jail Based Mental Health. I have worked alongside individuals that are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, stress, interpersonal conflict and bullying. I am certified in: Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy (TFCBT), Seeking Safety and Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP). My favorite thing about being a provider is the ability to witness my client’s healing journey and progress throughout therapy. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to begin your healing process.
